During times of economic uncertainty like these, people often choose or are forced to change careers. One thing to keep in mind is that you're looking for a "career". A career offers much more than a job in that it is an area you enjoy and improve, and that offers constant opportunities.
For anyone who is looking for a fun, exciting and growing career field, I would recommend careers in the Information Technology (IT) field. Mention “IT” and it conjures
up still images of computer, operating systems and keyboards. However, those
who are enthusiastic about Information Technology (IT) and the advancement
it brings to this world would beg to differ.
The University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos: College of Information Technology is the most advance among the all universities here in Negros. It offers some international based courses like the SAP Business Suite and the CISCO Networking Academy.
The number one advantage of Information Technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be imaginative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.

TumugonBurahinIndustrial Technology (IT) has no limitations. It generates the mind to pursue and aim for better things, to achieve excellence and reach the goal of a growing career in life.
I do believe that having that profession is a blessing even though there are many competitions with other people, who also have this course. It is a big challenge for a young mind and a young heart to pursue a dream; thus with this career you could be able to reach the future that you're hoping to have.
Technology is motivating and changing so fast. Industrial Technology will never feel recession.
The thing that can change the way you imagine a successful profession in life.

It would be helpful if the reasons given are more nuanced and detailed. After all, promoters of other courses would make similar claims about being able to do what one wants and unleashing ones potential...

As an IT student i can actually say that this is a very competitive career for students. 'cause one does not only needs logic but also creativity and critical thinking! :) good blog in promoting the course :)
